MASONIC AND ODD FELLOWS HALL

Built in 1868 this structure is still in use and listed in the National Register of Historic Places.  MSDCF is contributing funds for a new roof.  This project will be in conjunctiion with Lander Lodge #8, F. & A. M. and Electa Chapter #2, Order of the Eastern Star.

AUSTIN CITY HALL

The original city hall for Austin built in 1866 and also had a ground floor jail.  Austin, as a city, was soon disincorporated and the building has served as home for the American Legion Post #45 and a V.F.W. Post no  longer existing.  MSDCF has contributed to a new entry door and anticipates participating in future renovation activities.
